Stars of the Week – Friday 24th April 2015

Nursery AM – Isla for alwas trying her best and taking part in Class discussions.
Reception 1 – Alfie for trying really hard in Speech and Language with Mrs Gibson.
Reception 2 – Freya for trying really hard with her writing.
Class 1 – Victoria for a fantastic effort in all of her group work. She has been a Superstar.
Class 2 – Alice for trying really hard with her writing. Well done and keep up the good work.
Class 3 – Anna for some gorgeous drawing of ‘Wild flowers’ in Art this week.
Class 4 – Abbie has been a Star in Class this week. Great involvment in all her our Lessons. Thankyou Abbie.
Class 5 – Emily for always listening and completing her work – Well done Abbie.
Class 6 – Xander for trying much harder to concentrate in Class and always completes his work to a high standard. Well done!
Class 7 – Faye for being the only person in Class 7 to draw all of the different sized Angles accurately to the nearest 1 degree.
Class 8 – Holly for fantastic concentration in Numeracy work.
Class 9 – Cameron for setting a fantastic example at Thornleigh during his writing revision.

Stars of the Week – Friday 17th April 2015

Nursery AM Isla for fantastic work using positional language, Well done!
Nursery PM – Lacey for being a Star pupil and working really hard in her Learning group.
Reception 1 – Charlie for trying very hard in Maths all week.
Reception 2 – Alex for all the great learning he has done over the Easter Holidays, your Handwriting is beautiful.
Class 1 – Blake for impressing all of your teachers with your enthusiasm for reading at home! Great work!
Class 2 – Leo for being a Super Speller in Phonics and for trying really hard with his Cursive handwriting. Well done!
Class 3 – Sufiya for some lovely writing on ‘The Enormous Crocodile’s clever tricks’. Well done Sufiya!
Class 4 – Joshua has worked very hard this week, especially in Numeracy. Great rounding to the nearest multiples of 10/100.
Class 5 – Tyler for reading at home and completing some good work in our new Creative Curriculum at home. Well done Tyler and keep it up!
Class 6 – Ethan for joining in all discussions in Class and trying really hard.
Class 7 – Megan for an excellent contribution towards lessons and for being such a fantastic leader.
Class 8 – Americus for excellent concentration during Revision. Well done!
Class 9 – Kasie for always trying her best and making fantastic progress in Maths!

Stars of the Week – Friday 20th March 2015

Nursery AM – Metehan for modelling good behaviour all week and trying his best.

Reception 1 – Jayden for modelling good behaviour on the carpet and trying hard in all his work.
Reception 2 – Oscar for teaching us all about the fish that live in The ‘Deepest darkest’ parts of the sea and Miss Smith for being a great teacher! Thank you!
Class 1 – Logan for trying hard so hard to do the right thing! Good boy.
Class 2 – Kallum for being enthusiastic with all his work and trying really hard.
Class 3 – Isabelle has made some excellent progress, especially in her Handwriting which is absolutely beautiful!
Class 4 – Mia for a great start to reciprocal reading group with Mrs Buckley – Well done!
Class 5 – Emilia for trying very hard in her group work. Well done!
Class 6 – Josef for trying very hard with everything this week in particular when writing his twisted fairytale today in Literacy.
Class 7 – Blake for great work in Maths, fantastic writing in Literacy and handwriting which is better than Mrs Devines!
Class 8 – McGinlay fo rbeing a great Role model, McGinlay is always ready with a smile and always tries his best at all times.
Class 9 – Ewan for fantastic work in Maths and maintaining a positive attitude at all times.

Class 4 – Declan has had a great week, He has made some brilliant contributions in lessons an dhis behaviour has been tip top!
Class 5 – Jake for having a mature and positive approach to his work.
A brilliant Role model to others.
Class 6 – Steven for doing some fantastic Maths homework.
Class 7 – All of Year 5! for excellent attitude and behaviour at Robinhood and those children who stayed in School – Well done!
Class 8 – Joe for excellent attitude especially during this difficult time of Revision.
Class 9 – Natalia for being a great Role model, Natalia always gives 100% in everything she does, she is consistently polite and tries her best.

Nursery – To all Nursery children AM+PM. I have enjoyed working with the Children helping them to learn + grow in to the shining stars they are. – Mrs Luettge.
Reception 1 – Kuba for knowing his sounds and using them in his writing! Well done Kuba!
Reception 2 – Mia for really trying hard with her writing and applying her phonic knowledge – Superstar!
Class 1 – Ava for outstanding work in Numeracy. She is a little superstar!
Class 2 – Emily for trying really hard in all her work especially with her Numeracy! Keep up the good work!
Class 3 – Fraser for always trying his best in all his work and getting on with tasks without being distracted! Well done.
Class 4 – Oliver for great effort all week! Great stuff.
Class 5 – Grace for excellent work solving subtraction word problems.
Class 6 – Lia for trying very hard in Maths.
Class 7 – Nicole for some great work in Numeracy and for working really hard at all times.

Easter play 2015
